持商务M签证入境外籍人士在疫情期间通过PU邀请函申请商务签证入境，通常能拿到的签证可以在中国境内逗留60-180天时间，因为各地隔离政策未能高效开展商务洽谈工作，持有的签证的有效期马上面临到期，需要进行延期的安排，则需要邀请单位进行相关材料配合进行延期。另外如果是因个人发展需要长时间在境内的企业工作，则需要把签证转为长期的工作居留许可，避免造成不合法就业。申请签证延期所需证明材料当提交当地邀请、接待单位或者个人出具的证明函件，未备案的单位还应当提交注册登记证明。可以延长停留期限不超过180日。

外国人居留事由终止，因人道原因需要继续停留的，应当提交居留证件和相关的证明材料，可以签发停留期不超过30日的停留证件。持有停留证件的外国人，由于客观原因无法在停留证件有效期内离境的，可以申请换发停留证件。但因疫情得到有效的控制，现关于停留签延期将会逐渐收紧，甚至部分地区对多次申请过的人群进行停发。所以持有T签证的外籍人士如需继续停留，建议尽快申请工作居留许可或者团聚居留许可。

自6月6日起，很多国家对于来华探亲的人群，无需再提供来华PU邀请函，极大便利需要入境探亲的外籍家庭。持有Q1签证（30天）入境，入境后可在中国籍直系家属的户籍地或者居住地申请长期团聚居留许可；但对于持有探亲Q2签证（90-180天）入境的外籍人士，因有事未能及时处理好，需继续停留一段时间。可尝试申请Q2签证延期（之前因疫情期间提供便利，部分地区可提供Q2签证更换长期居留，但疫情趋于稳定，部分地区已经逐步取消了Q2转长期居留的便利。）
